Butyl Acrylate

Liquid with a characteristic fruity odor, it is sold inhibited to prevent polymerization. It is readily polymerizable and exhibits a wide range of properties depending on monomer selection and reaction conditions. Used in the production of homopolymers and copolymers. When used in latex paint formulations, they have good moisture resistance, flexibility at low temperatures, and excellent resistance to the environment and sunlight.
